A pretty typical layout for RedPepper shouldn’t hide the fact that this free WordPress theme has some tricks up it’s sleeve. First off is the subtle structure and depth created by the graphics. Like most the themes on this site, I don’t recommend using this theme “right out of the box” but customize it to your design. Having these graphical elements in place makes it that much easier to modify. Secondly, ThemeLab has allowed you to have a custom header graphic on pages via a custom field (page_header). They do give you a few to choose from but, again, it’s just that much easier to really make this design your own.
